Bio
Trained at the National Art School in Sydney and graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Art, Neridah’s practice includes painting and ceramics.
She has held 28 solo exhibitions and has exhibited in many selected art prizes including the Gurguis New Art Prize, The Glover Prize, Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize, North Queensland Ceramics Award and the Women’s Art Prize Tasmania. Collections include; Artbank, Parliament House Canberra, Newcastle Art Gallery, Macquarie Group and Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
In 2014 the Charles Darwin University Art Gallery curated Neridah Stockley: A retrospective, and in 2020 the University Gallery at the Newcastle University curated a career survey exhibition, Neridah Stockley: A Secular View which toured nationally.
Neridah has 20 years’ experience as an Arts Co-ordinator and Manager in the Northern Territory; Artback NT, Bindi Inc Mwerre Anthurre Artists, Maruku Arts and Papunya Tula Artists.
Neridah is now living and working on the north-east coast of Tasmania. In 2025 she participated in the Chinese Contemporary Art Tasmania Inc Artist in Residence program. Neridah is currently represented by Bett Gallery and Michael Reid Clay.
